CyberCMM™, a comprehensive software suite of coordinate measurement tools provides highly accurate, 100% metrology-grade measurement on all critical points much faster than a traditional CMM, including coplanarity, distance, height and datum X, Y to name a few. A fast and easy set-up can be performed in less than an hour for programming complex applications as compared to slow, engineering resource-intensive set-up that typically requires multiple adjustments with traditional coordinate measurement machines (CMMs).

ü Expected maintainability/repairability: CyberOptics’ sensor is robust and has a long life span

with an MTBF (Mean Time between Failures) of 8 years which significantly reduces maintenance

effort and costs. Also, the 3D sensor is absolutely calibration-free with no machine to machine

variation and no parts that wear-and-tear.

MRS technology eliminates multiple reflections that corrupt data enabling high range, flexibility of

ü Performance: 

A combination of MRS and AI2 technologies provide the best 3D inspection results. While MRS

suppresses reflections that cause erroneous measurements especially with shiny components,

AI2 offers precise discrimination even with excessive variance resulting in highly accurate

measurement and lowest false call rates. AI2 also offers extremely quick setup and simple

programming with no parameters to adjust or algorithms to tune. And, you don't need to

anticipate defects or pre-define variance either - AI2 does it all for you. The unique pixel marking

feature highlights defective spots, so you can identify genuine defects instantly. AI2 gives you the

power to inspect the most comprehensive list of features and identify the widest variety of defect

types including those that you least expect.
