Rules

1. The Vision Awards are offered in 22 categories. Both the number of entries from each company and the number of categories into which an entry goes are not limited.

2. A Chinese Achievement Award will be presented to recognize the local Chinese companies (excluding joint ventures and foreign companies in China) and products independently developed by them within the surface mount industry.

3. Readers and a distinguished panel of independent industry experts will be invited to evaluate each submission.

4. Evaluation will be based on creative application of a new or existing technology; overall quality; functionality, performance, reliability, speed or productivity improvements, ease of use, flexibility, effectiveness, economic merits, maintainability/repairability, and environmental responsibility.

5. Products and services marketed or introduced to the China market between July 1, 2005 and February 28, 2007, qualify for a 2007 SMT China VISION Awards.

6. All entries must be accompanied by official entry form with a 300-Chinese-character statement and a 150-English- word statement in MS Word, with technical specifications, and maximum of 3 customers’ comments (Chinese version with 300 words and English version with 150 words, submission of customers’ comments are optional ) on 12 aspects (please refer to 4) and together a 3×5″photo with a resolution of 300dpi or above.

7. Please pay by check or remittance the entry Fee of US$500, or HK$3,900, or RMB￥4,250 (including 5.5% for tax) per single entry per category. Online payment is also available, please consult our representatives. A receipt will be provided by mail upon request.

8. Awards will be announced and presented at a ceremony during the Nepcon Shanghai 2007 in April 2007.

9. Winning products and services will be published both in SMT China magazine and online.

Statement

1. Please submit all related materials before March 1, 2007.

2. Late entries in must be submitted before March 15, 2007 and entry fee will be doubled at US$1,000 or HK$7,800 or RMB￥8,500 (including extra charge of 5.5 % for tax) for each entry.

3. All entries must be received no later than March 1, 2007, late entry by March 16, 2007.

4.Materials provided shall include company name, type of your company (Local Chinese company, joint venture, foreign company in China), product name, the category of the entry, brief introduction of the product and its photo with caption. We reserve the right to make literal adjustment. The edited version will be sent back for a written confirmation from the participant.
